…Or was it?
The promo for ‘I’ve Seen Everything’ single came in exactly the same digi-pak design as the actual release. The promo is 1-track only, with the official single backed with three other tracks.
If you ever come across this single, take a look inside and you may just find yourself a wee rarity.

The second album from TCS came in this excellent digi-pak design.
As the band would admit, a much darker album than debut ‘Cake’, although ‘ISE’ did make it into the UK charts – nestling in at number 50.
This release included a John Douglas artwork print – I wonder what the originals are worth?

A favourite of mine is ‘Hayfever’ – the first single from second album ‘I’ve Seen Everything’.
A sing-a-long tune with clever melodies and lyrics. I love the reference to Moscow. Being from Ayrshire I appreciated the humour.
‘Hayfever’ was the first TCS single to grace the UK charts, entering at No.61 in April of ’93, and leaving – in a blaze of glory – a week later.

This special limited edition collectors’ box was designed to hold the ‘Hayfever’ CD single, ‘I’ve Seen Everything’ CD album, ‘I’ve Seen Everything’ CD single.
The final CD that should have completed the box was the planned ‘Bloodrush’ single, but this was only ever released as a US promo, therefore the anchor on the spine of these CDs was incomplete.

The photograph was taken by Joe DiMaria, that wonderful chap who – as well as a million other things – keeps the band’s official website up-to-date and lets us all know what’s happening in the world of TCS.

…you bleedin’ well ask proper!” So said Lulu in the film ‘To Sir, With Love’ – or did she shout?
A classic cover version backed with 3 other tracks, ‘Claw’, A Boy And A Girl’ and ‘You Only Live Twice’.
‘You Only Live Twice’ appeared on the soundtrack to Irvine Welsh’s stage production of ‘Maribou Stork Nightmares’.

Third single from ‘A Happy Pocket’ was ‘How Can I Apply…?’
Just two tracks on this 7-inch single – both magic.
The girl on the front cover is reportedly a one-time girlfriend of Colin Dunsmuir, the band’s photographer at the time.

‘The Main Attraction’ EP was the first single from third album ‘A Happy Pocket’, and was released in limited quantities (possibly 2,000).
According to a posting on the TCS mailing list, the idea behind releasing this single as a limited format was to increase awareness of the band after such a long period out of the public eye.
With TMA not being an obvious single choice for the band, they let their record label ‘get on with it’ so to speak, before releasing a properly distributed record a couple of months later.
