Here’s the UK release of ‘In The Music’.
It’s pretty much identical to the Japanese release which I’ve previously posted – with the obvious difference being the record label. The poster/lyric fold-out insert is the same.

I think I like her.

Some copies – like this one – came with a promo letter from Manilla PR, which gives an insight into the band and how the new songs and album came about…

It’s shiny, it’s new and it’s here. Say hello to ‘In The Music’.
I’ll leave the song reviews for another time and just let you all drool over the packaging.
The Japanese release comes in digi-pak form with the obligatory obi-strip. Inside we have a marvellous fold out lyric sheet with a fantastic montage of band pics on the reverse, and as with all Japanese releases there’s an additional lyric booklet, which kindly explains the band’s thinking behind each song.
Get In(to) The Music – it’s magic!

A one-track promo CD was distributed to the radio and press in the UK. This might be as close as you’ll come to seeing it, as it was limited to approximately 50 copies.
Released as a digital download only. The song was inspired by the late Syd Barrett, a founding member of Pink Floyd.
The single was released with a charity festival in Syd’s honour in Cambridge and London in October 2008. More info here
