Here’s a cutting from an edition of Glasgow’s ‘The List’ magazine advertising an early TCS gig, supporting The Thieves at Cumbernauld Theatre.

Only Tongue Can Tell, Funny, Drunken Chorus and Useless were among the setlist that night, which I think, was from late 1988 or sometime early in 1989.

Fascinating facts: The Thieves recorded an album at Shabby Road Studios. It was never released. Also, The Thieves had a certain Daniel Wylie in their ranks, who went on to find a degree of success with the Cosmic Rough Riders in the late 1990s, early 2000s.
