The inner ring of both the CD and DVD are printed with the words ‘Sample’ and ‘Loaned’.

A great example of how music packaging should be done.

This rare CD, limited to approximately 4,000 copies, includes the Trashcans performing an acoustic version of ‘The Safecracker’. An updated version appears on A Happy Pocket.

The Adventure Club was a Sunday night session hosted by Alex Luke on the Dallas-Fort Worth radio station The Edge 94.5. Some sessions were recorded live on air on the night the bands played in the studio, others were recorded at the Edge studios.

All proceeds from the sale of these CDs went to charity. The artists included XTC, Frank Black, Lemonheads, James, and Blur, amongst others.

A one-track promo CD was distributed to the radio and press in the UK. This might be as close as you’ll come to seeing it, as it was limited to approximately 50 copies.

Released as a digital download only. The song was inspired by the late Syd Barrett, a founding member of Pink Floyd.

The single was released with a charity festival in Syd’s honour in Cambridge and London in October 2008. More info here
