Follow-up single to ‘Obscurity Knocks’. This is the 7-inch UK version and I’ve also included the Australian and German imports.
The printing on the imports is slightly different in that the text is more pink than red – see bottom pictures.

The original working title for the album ‘Cake’ was ‘Spoofs’.
Here’s a white label test pressing copy of it. One side has the handwritten label with the other blank. The same inscribed legends ‘The Exchange Ray’s’ and ‘When is adore not adore?’ appear on either side.
If you take a look at the official Trashcans discography you’ll see a cassette version of ‘Spoofs’ was also produced.

12-inch white label test pressing of debut EP ‘Obscurity Knocks’ complete with press release letter.
This copy has a handwritten label with partially ripped sticker. The inner ring of the same side has the inscription ‘!!Youthenasia!!’ which can partly be seen on the bottom right corner of the photograph.
Note the track error on the letter for ‘The Best Man’s Fool’.
