I’m not entirely sure why the spines are different—they’re the only difference between these cassettes. The J-Card and tape are exactly the same on both copies.

This is a very scarce European version of the Cake LP. It has black-printed labels and was made in Holland, although the reverse of the outer sleeve has a French promo sticker.
The inner sleeve is printed on a thinner paper grade than the UK release. The outer sleeve is virtually indistinguishable from the UK version, the only difference being two printed spines rather than one.
The inscribed ‘legends’ – ‘When is adore not adore?’ and ‘The exchange Ray’s’ – are missing from the inner ring of the vinyl.
