A favourite of mine is ‘Hayfever’ – the first single from second album ‘I’ve Seen Everything’.
A sing-a-long tune with clever melodies and lyrics. I love the reference to Moscow. Being from Ayrshire I appreciated the humour.
‘Hayfever’ was the first TCS single to grace the UK charts, entering at No.61 in April of ’93, and leaving – in a blaze of glory – a week later.

This special limited edition collectors’ box was designed to hold the ‘Hayfever’ CD single, ‘I’ve Seen Everything’ CD album, ‘I’ve Seen Everything’ CD single.
The final CD that should have completed the box was the planned ‘Bloodrush’ single, but this was only ever released as a US promo, therefore the anchor on the spine of these CDs was incomplete.

‘Senses Working Overtime’ is one of the many Trashcan cover versions.
Originally recorded by XTC, this 12-inch vinyl was given out to fans – a Christmas present perhaps – at a concert in 1992.
These were extremely limited with just under 1,000 copies pressed – here’s No.77.

6-track promo sampler for ‘I’ve Seen Everything’ album. Tracks include ‘Hayfever, I’ve Seen Everything, The Hairy Years, Send For Henny, Bloodrush and Easy Read’.
The words on the back of the custom card picture sleeve are anagrams, with the lighter coloured letters spelling out The Trashcan Sinatras – clever eh?
