…was released in 1996 by Eddi Reader.
This Japanese import included the bonus track ‘Sex Lives’ which was written by Frank Reader and Paul Livingston, although it doesn’t appear to be credited on the sleeve notes.
An acoustic track, it was also available on her single ‘Town Without Pity’ (part 2, NEG90CDX/0630151222)

Scottish singer/songwriter Roddy Hart, has toured and played shows in America, Japan and Europe, opening for artists such as Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Ray LaMontagne, Rosanne Cash and the Trashcan Sinatras.
His debut studio album ‘Bookmarks’ features a few members of the Trashcans, notably Frank on backing vocals, Paul on guitar and Stephen on drums.
It’s an impressive album which also features Kris Kristofferson and Eddi Reader on a couple of tracks. If you like Ryan Adams, The Wallflowers, Bright Eyes and the like, then you should buy this album – it won’t disappoint.

spinART Records – one time American home to the TCS – released this vinyl only promo in 2005 which included all-exclusive material from the label’s roster.
Only 600 of these were made available to retail and it included such artists as Frank Black (The Pixies), Apollo Sunshine, The Dears and of course, the Trashcans. There are 10 tracks on this release, but the lack of information on these is disappointing, to say the least.
Here the live version of ‘Hayfever’ from Le Bataclan in Paris, France 1996 is included. This originally featured on the ‘Weightlifting E.P.’ (BoBame 005)
If you’re into collecting rarities, then this may be on your list. Copies do spring up from time-to-time, but if you want the live track, I’d recommend the ‘Weightlifting E.P.’
Note the spelling error on the label – ‘Heyfever’ – shocking!
