Follow-up single to ‘Obscurity Knocks’. This is the 7-inch UK version and I’ve also included the Australian and German imports.
The printing on the imports is slightly different in that the text is more pink than red – see bottom pictures.

Below is the Australian version, released on the London Go! Discs label.

And below is the German version, released on Go! Discs.

‘Senses Working Overtime’ is one of the many Trashcan cover versions.
Originally recorded by XTC, this 12-inch vinyl was given out to fans – a Christmas present perhaps – at a concert in 1992.
These were extremely limited with just under 1,000 copies pressed – here’s No.77.

The original working title for the album ‘Cake’ was ‘Spoofs’.
Here’s a white label test pressing copy of it. One side has the handwritten label with the other blank. The same inscribed legends ‘The Exchange Ray’s’ and ‘When is adore not adore?’ appear on either side.
If you take a look at the official Trashcans discography you’ll see a cassette version of ‘Spoofs’ was also produced.
