For the 15th anniversary of its original release, 2004’s ‘Weightlifting’ was made available on vinyl for the first time!
Remastered on 180 gram vinyl, it included a full colour outer sleeve, a full colour insert with lyrics and a colour inner sleeve featuring liner notes written by British music journalist Pete Paphides…
“If life is a spectator sport, a Trashcan Sinatras album is the work of unassuming Olympians.”
It’s a wonderful package befitting such a wonderful album and really should be part of your record collection. Get your copy here.
Now all we need is a vinyl release of ‘In The Music’…?
Also, not one but two test pressings were produced. Test pressing one had too much hiss so another was cut, but to be honest there’s not an ocean of difference to these average ears.

…or maybe no. Russel’s doing Fine.
Here’s an interesting piece of Trashcan memorabilia – a band & crew tour itinerary book from early 1991.
This would have been distributed to people involved in the tour and contains all the relevant information for the tour including hotels, tour companies, crew members, travel arrangements, promoters and venues.
Stay safe folks.
